Chicken Karahi is a Pakistani and North Indian dish noted for its spicy taste. Chef Navin Bhatia has customised his Karahi Chicken recipe by adding Kohinoor Adraki Bhuna sauce to give it a distinct and warming curry flavour.

Ingredients

1 packet  of Kohinoor Adraki Bhuna sauce
2 tsp vegetable oil
¼ tsp cumin seeds
450g chicken breast
30g red onion- sliced
5g ginger juliennes
30g mixed pepper juliennes
3g green chilli juliennes
1 tsp chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Method

  • In a pan, heat the oil
  • Add the cumin seeds until they start to crackle
  • Add the red onion, mixed peppers, ginger juliennes and green chilli an sauté until the vegetables are lightly fried
  • Add the chicken and cook for a few minutes
  • Add the Kohinoor Adraki Bhuna sauce and let the chicken cook within the sauce
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves
