Kohinoor Butter Chicken Recipe
One of the UK’s favourite curry dishes is the butter chicken. The rich, buttery sauce has been perfected and fine tuned to make a quick and easy dinner by Kohinoor. The subtle spice in the succulent chicken tikka marry beautifully with the sweet, irresistible sauce.
Ingredients
1 packet of Kohinoor Butter Chicken Sauce
450g diced chicken breast
50g plain yoghurt
10g garlic paste
10g ginger paste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
5g salt
3g chilli powder
1g turmeric powder
3g garam masala
20ml double cream
10g butter
Method
- Marinate the chicken breast dices with yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and oil
- Marinate for 30 minutes
- Spread on a baking sheet and cook at 200°C for 15 minutes
- In a pan, pour the Kohinoor Butter Chicken sauce and warm through
- Add the cooked chicken and allow to simmer for 5 minutes
- Finish off the curry by adding butter and cream to give a delicious shine
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve immediately
