Pan fried paneers steaks with a crispy breaded coating served with our sweet & aromatic Keralan Coconut Moilee sauce. This is such a nice recipe to mix your weekly menu up and perfect for impressing any vegetarians in your life.
Recipe for Crispy Paneer Steaks
Kohinoor Keralan Coconut Moilee sauce – 1 packet
Paneer Block – 600 grams
Corn-starch – 2 tablespoons
Flour – 2 tablespoons
Panko/White breadcrumbs – 200 grams
Salt – to taste
Chilli powder – 1 gram
Chopped coriander – 1 tablespoon
Slice the paneer into ½ cm slices and cut into large rectangles & marinate the paneer with salt and chilli powder.
Make a thick batter by mixing corn-starch, flour and water.
Dip the marinated paneer in this batter and cover it with panko or white breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a frying pan and pan fry the breaded slices of paneer until they get a golden colour on both sides.
Heat the Kohinoor Coconut Moilee sauce in a saucepan, bring to a boil and add chopped coriander.
Serve your crispy paneer steaks with Kohinoor basmati rice
