Samosas are delicious snacks that are perfect for a celebration. The crisp outer pastry shell encases the bright flavours of India and is simply delectable. We’ve used our meals in minutes as tasty fillings for the samosa so you can have more variety and it’s surprisingly easy to make with only 3 ingredients.

Ingredients

1 packet ready-made filo pastry
5 tbsp butter, melted

Method

  • Using the ready-made filo pastry, take each layer and brush with the melted butter. Fold each side inwards lengthways, buttering on each fold, so you have a long thin strip
  • Put 1 rounded teaspoon of your chosen filling at the end of the strip, leaving a 1cm border
  • Fold up the samosa by taking one corner and folding diagonally, then repeat on alternate sides until the pastry is all folded
  • Seal the edge with butter and brush the whole samosa with butter for a golden colour
  • When all your samosas have been made, place in a pre-heated oven at 180ËšC for about 10 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp
  • Serve with your favourite chutneys
