Jalfrezi Chicken Pie

Recipe for Jalfrezi Chicken Pie
Kohinoor Jalfrezi sauce – 1 packet
Diced chicken breast -750gms
Cooking oil – 3 tablespoons
Diced red bell peppers – 150gms
Diced green bell peppers – 150gms
Diced red onions – 150gms
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp (optional)
Salt – 5gms
Puff pastry sheet – 1
Egg – 1
Heat oil in a frying pan, add the cumin seeds, when they start to crackle, add the diced chicken breast and stir fry until light brown in colour. Add salt and mix in the Kohinoor Jalfrezi sauce, diced onions, bell peppers and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves.
Transfer the chicken to a glass oven proof dish and allow to cool. Cover the chicken with a sheet of ready made puff pastry, taking care to tuck the pastry inside the pan, egg wash the pastry.
Cook in a preheated oven at 200degree centigrade for 15-20minutes until the pastry is cooked.
Serve Jalfrezi Chicken Pie with mash and veg.
