  • Kohinoor Jalfrezi sauce – 1 packet
  • Diced chicken breast -750gms
  • Cooking oil – 3 tablespoons
  • Diced red bell peppers – 150gms
  • Diced green bell peppers – 150gms
  • Diced red onions – 150gms
  • Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp (optional)
  • Salt – 5gms
  • Puff pastry sheet – 1
  • Egg – 1


Heat oil in a frying pan, add the cumin seeds, when they start to crackle, add the diced chicken breast and stir fry until light brown in colour. Add salt and mix in the Kohinoor Jalfrezi sauce, diced onions, bell peppers and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves. 

Transfer the chicken to a glass oven proof dish and allow to cool. Cover the chicken with a sheet of ready made puff pastry, taking care to tuck the pastry inside the pan, egg wash the pastry.

Cook in a preheated oven at 200degree centigrade for 15-20minutes until the pastry is cooked.

Serve Jalfrezi Chicken Pie with mash and veg.
