Lamb Chop Bhuna Recipe

It’s time to impress the one you love with a meal they’ll love. We’ve got the perfect Valentine’s meal that is easy to cook, looks impressive, and tastes irresistible. Combining beautifully cooked lamb chops, with spiced cumin potatoes, and an easy Indian Adraki Bhuna sauce- this lamb chop bhuna is a guaranteed winner.


Lamb bhuna:
6 Lamb Chops
Salt and Pepper
1 tbsp oil
1 crushed garlic clove
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 packet Kohinoor Adraki Bhuna Cooking Sauce

Cumin Potatoes: 
300g boiled diced potatoes
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
Salt and pepper


  • Marinate the lamb with the salt and crushed pepper
  • Heat the oil in a pan and pan fry the lamb chops
  • When caramelised, add the Kohinoor Adraki Bhuna Cooking Sauce
  • Let it simmer
  • In another pan, heat the oil for the cumin potatoes
  • Add the cumin seeds and let crackle and release their aroma
  • Add the potatoes and reduce the heat
  • Fry the potatoes until light brown
  • Add the turmeric, chilli powder, salt, and pepper
  • Fry for a further five minutes
  • Give the sauce a stir, and serve altogether
