Meat Bhuna Lasagna

  • Kohinoor Bhuna sauce-01pkt
  • Beef or lamb mince- 500gms
  • Cooking oil-02tsp
  • Salt-05gms
  • Chopped onion-100gms
  • Chopped coriander leaves-02tbsps
  • Dry lasagne sheets 375 gms-1
  • Grated cheddar cheese-250gms

For Cheese sauce

  • Milk-500ml
  • Butter-50gms
  • Flour-02tbsp


Heat oil in a frying pan, sauté the chopped onions add the mince and cook well until the meat is light brown in colour.

Add the Kohinoor Bhuna sauce, reduce heat and cover the pan, cook for 15-20 minutes until the meat is cooked. 

Adjust the seasoning and add the chopped coriander.

To make the cheese sauce warm the milk. In a separate saucepan melt the butter and add the flour, cook on slow heat to make a roux taking care not to burn the flour. Add the warm milk whisking continuously till the sauce starts to bubble, remove from heat and mix in half of the grated cheese. 

Use a deep glass oven proof dish, pour half of the meat sauce, arrange a layer of the lasagne sheet on top, pour half of the cheese sauce on top and arrange another layer of lasagne sheets.

Repeat this process to get four layers with the top layer being the cheese sauce. Sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese on top and bake in a heated oven at 180degrees centigrade for 40-45 minutes.
