Spiced Tandoori Lamb Chops
These spiced lamb chops will be a winner at any get together. After marinating in tandoori spices these succulent and tender chops are bursting with flavour. Traditionally cooked in Tandoor, which is a piping hot clay oven which gives tandoor cooking its name, we recommend cooking these over hot coals for the best results.
Recipe for sPICED Tandoori Lamb Chops
Lamb chops/cutlets – 12
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Garlic paste – 1tsp
Salt – 10 grams
Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
For the marinade:
Greek yoghurt – 2 tbsp
Paprika powder – 2 tsp
Nutmeg powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala – 1tsp
Cooking oil – 3 tsp
Chopped mint – 2 tsp
Kohinoor Mint and Coriander Chutney
Kohinoor Mango Chutney
Marinate the lamb chops with ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, chilli powder and lemon juice.
Let the chops marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Make a second marinade by mixing yoghurt, paprika powder, garam masala, nutmeg powder, cooking oil and chopped mint.
Apply on the marinated lamb chops and leave for at least 45 minutes.
Cook the chops grilled over charcoal or in a hot oven 220-240 degree centigrade for 20-25minutes
