Spicy Pulled Pork Bao Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Kohinoor Kolhapuri Masala cooking sauce
  • 500g Pork loin (fat trimmed)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • 3 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
  • 100 gms Onion juliennes
  • 200ml Water
  • 3 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 8 Bao buns

Without closing the lid, select the programme BROWN on your Tefal Turbo Cuisine Multi-Cooker for 15 minutes at 160 degree C, and press START.

While waiting for the preheat process, season the pork with salt and pepper.

Once to temperature, add the cooking oil. When the oil is hot, add the whole piece of the pork loin, brown well on both sides.

Add the chopped garlic, chopped ginger and onion juliennes, sauté well.

Add the Kohinoor Kolhapuri Masala cooking sauce and 200ml of water and salt.

Close and fully lock the lid. Select the programme STEW for 20 minutes and press START.

When the time is up, press the steam release button to release the pressure before opening the lid.

Using two forks, shred the pork and mix it in with the sauce, if the pork is too watery wet start the BROWN programme for 10 minutes at 160 degree C, turn off the programme when happy with the consistency.

Heat the bao buns.

Fill the bao buns with the pulled pork mixture and enjoy. Top with Coriander, chilli and cucumber.
