Vegetable Jalfrezi Recipe

This video shows how easy it is to make authentic Indian food in no time! Using our Calcutta Jalfrezi sauce, make this vegetarian dish that everyone will love. It’s perfectly served with garlic naan and basmati rice.


450g mixed vegetables (such as carrots, beans, potatoes, and peas)
2 tsp cooking oil
1 Packet Kohinoor Calcutta Jalfrezi Sauce


  • Boil the vegetables or use pre-cooked vegetables
  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the vegetables and sauté slightly
  • Add the Kohinoor Calcutta Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce and mix
  • Cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Serve with chopped coriander, basmati rice, and garlic naan
