Perfect for a cold, Winter’s day, this Lamb Madras Stew is the perfect comfort recipe to end the day. Collaborating with Tefal with their Turbo Cuisine Multi-Cooker, the Kohinoor Madras cooking sauce adds a delicious kick of flavour to take this dish to the next level.

Ingredients
- Kohinoor Madras cooking sauce – 1 packet
- Lamb for stewing – 400g
- Cooking oil – 3 tablespoons
- Salt – 10gms
- Chopped garlic – 1 tablespoon
- Potato cut into 3cm cubes – 200g
- Carrots chopped into 2cm cubes – 100g
- Large onion diced – 100g
- Water – 150ml
- Garam masala – ½ tablespoon
- Chopped coriander leaves – 3 tablespoons
method
Without closing the lid, select the programme BROWN on your Tefal Turbo Cuisine Multi-Cooker for 10 minutes at 160 degrees C, and press START.
Once to temperature, add the cooking oil. When the oil is hot, add the diced beef or lamb and brown it well.
Add the chopped garlic, diced onion, potatoes and carrot, sauté well.
Add the Kohinoor Madras cooking sauce and 150ml of water.
Mix in the salt and garam masala.
Close and fully lock the lid. Select the programme STEW for 8 minutes and press START.
When the time is up, press the steam release button to release the pressure before opening the lid.
Serve with Kohinoor Platinum Basmati Rice garnished with chopped coriander.
