Butter Chicken Kathi Roll Recipe

This is a great lunchbox treat to add a bit of spice to your day! Our delicious butter chicken wrapped up in a crispy tortilla is a new way to eat curry!


Serves 4

250g diced chicken
30g yoghurt
5 tbsp oil
10g ginger and garlic paste
5g salt
10ml lemon juice
¼ tsp chilli powder
100g diced peppers
40g diced red onion
1 Kohinoor Delhi Butter Chicken sauce 
4 large tortillas
4 eggs


  • Heat the grill to 200˚C
  • Marinate the chicken in the yoghurt, salt, ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice, teaspoon of oil, and chilli powder for ten minutes until cooked with a nice charred colour
  • Saute the peppers and onions in 2 teaspoons of oil
  • Add the cooked chicken
  • Stir in the Kohinoor Delhi Butter Chicken sauce
  • Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt
  • Dip each tortilla into the beaten eggs and pan fry until crispy
  • Add the chicken mixture and wrap
