Leftover Turkey Haleem Recipe
This haleem recipe is quick, easy, and hearty! Change up your typical turkey curry with this flavourful recipe using Kohinoor’s Cooking Sauce.
Ingredients
500g shredded leftover Christmas turkey
1 Kohinoor Hyderabad Haleem Cooking Sauce
1 onion, thinly sliced
20g oil
100ml water
Chopped coriander to serve
Sliced ginger to serve
1 lemon
Method
- Heat the water in a large saucepan
- Add the turkey and boil for 2 minutes
- Add the Kohinoor Haleem Cooking Sauce and bring to a gentle boil. Simmer for 10 minutes
- Heat oil in a frying pan and add the sliced oion until golden brown
- Add the onion to the turkey haleem
- Serve with chopped coriander, ginger, and a squeeze of lemon
